When Templating Becomes the Bottleneck, Production Pays for It
The cabinets are installed. The job is ready. The customer is waiting.
But your usual templator is booked, sick, unavailable, or moving too slowly for the production schedule. Now the job sits idle while someone tries to find time to get to the site, capture the measurements, and send back a usable file.
Jobs Sit Between Installation and Fabrication
When templating is delayed, the project can sit untouched for days while the rest of the schedule continues moving around it.
Your Best People Get Pulled Off Higher-Value Work
Owners, installers, and production employees often end up driving to jobsites and handling templating themselves. That means less time selling, managing production, installing, or serving the customers already on their schedule.
One Delay Can Disrupt the Whole Schedule
A one-to-three-day delay can create extra coordination, travel, remobilization, and lost production capacity. If the issue becomes a remeasure or remake, the operational cost gets much higher.
TrueFit Stone helps South Florida fabricators keep jobs moving from finished cabinets to fabrication without waiting on an overloaded employee.
A Simple, Controlled Process From Estimate to File Delivery
You should not have to chase a templator, explain the same project three times, or wonder whether the file will arrive before production needs it.
15 MINUTES
You send the job, we quote it
Submit the short estimate form. We confirm the scope within 15 minutes during business hours, then send a written quote with the price, the fees and the exclusions before anything is booked.
USUALLY NEXT DAY
We template on site
Once the quote is approved we collect the job packet and confirm the appointment date, arrival window and readiness checklist. We verify site conditions, photograph the work areas, and complete the agreed Flexijet template.
NEXT BUSINESS DAY
File lands in your inbox
We complete quality control and deliver your customer-specific folder by the next business day, then confirm your team downloaded and opened the files successfully.

What your CAD team actually receives.
Stone templating is too important to leave vague.
| File format | DXF R2018 |
|---|---|
| Scale | 1:1 |
| Opens in | Any CAM that reads DXF R2018 |
| Layers | Perimeter · cutouts · seams · backsplash · notes |
| Geometry | Closed polylines, no intentional stray or duplicate geometry |
| Piece labels | Identified in the DXF, labelled on the PDF |
| Instrument accuracy | ±0.5 mm — Flexijet published accuracy (about ±0.020 in) |
| Returned | Next business day — from the site visit |
| Naming | Your convention, or ours — named to match your existing file system |
| Also included | Dimensioned PDF report · jobsite photos · field notes — the PDF carries overall dimensions, wall conditions, overhangs and scribes; the notes record the job number, areas measured and anything needing CAD/CAM review |
Final CAD/CAM programming and fabrication review remain with the fabricator.

Clear Pricing Based on the Work Your Job Requires
Every project is quoted before scheduling. Your price is based on the approved scope, project complexity, travel distance, and delivery deadline.
Standard templates start at$300
Standard template fee
$300
Based on the type of project — kitchen countertops, islands, bathrooms and vanities, backsplashes, walls, or commercial stone projects.
Complexity adjustment
Quoted with the job
Applied when the project requires additional field time, documentation, or coordination — waterfalls, multiple areas, unusual geometry, difficult access, complex walls or scribes, multiple cutouts, or an expanded scope.
Travel
$1.50 / mile
Included within 30 driving miles of our Miami office. Beyond 30 miles, $1.50 for each additional mile of one-way distance. The rate covers the round trip.
A jobsite 50 miles out is 20 miles past the line: 20 × $1.50 = $30.
Rush service
Quoted with the job
Available by request, subject to availability. If you need a faster appointment or delivery deadline, we confirm the applicable rush charge in writing before scheduling.

Questions
Will the file open in my software?
Any CAM that reads DXF R2018. Closed polylines, no intentional stray or duplicate geometry, layered by element — perimeter, cutouts, seams, backsplash, notes. Named to match your existing file convention, or ours if you don't have one.
What tolerance do you hold?
±0.5 mm — the published accuracy of the Flexijet instrument, about ±0.020 in. Every job goes through quality control before release.
What if the field doesn't match?
Errors inside the approved scope are corrected at no charge. Every package ships with organised jobsite photos and field notes, so when something looks wrong at fabrication your team can check actual conditions without driving back.
Changes made after templating — a moved wall, a different appliance, a revised layout — may need a paid revision or remeasure.
Are you insured?
General liability and professional liability.
General liability covers the jobsite — damage where we are working. Professional liability covers the work product, which is the category a measurement error falls under rather than the category a dropped tool does.
How far out are you booking?
Usually next day. Same-day is available subject to availability, at a rush charge quoted with the job. The package is delivered by the next business day after the site visit.
How does payment work?
Payment confirms the appointment — no work is scheduled until it is received. We accept ACH, card, Zelle and check.
New customers pay in full before the site visit. Larger or complex projects may run on a deposit, with the balance due before file delivery. All of it is in the written quote before anything is booked.
